Smartspot Wet Electrostatic Precipitator (WESP) is an efficient dust - removal equipment. It charges pollutants via high - voltage corona discharge, collects them by virtue of electric field force, and finally cleans the dust with liquid washing. Its core advantage lies in breaking the limitations of dust characteristics, enabling efficient removal of fine particles (such as PM2.5), acid mist, heavy metals, aerosols and other pollutants from flue gas. It is particularly suitable for treating flue gas with high humidity, high specific resistance and corrosiveness.The equipment boasts extremely high dust - removal efficiency, which can reduce the smoke emission concentration to below 10mg/m³. During operation, it has low pressure loss, no complex moving parts, high stability and low maintenance costs. Meanwhile, it can work below the dew point temperature of flue gas. With a compact structure, it can be easily combined with equipment such as wet desulfurization systems. However, it requires a high initial investment and needs supporting sewage treatment systems to handle the washing wastewater, so as to prevent secondary pollution.

Smartspot Wet Electrostatic Precipitator (WESP) achieves flue gas purification through three core processes: Charging - Collection - Ash Cleaning. Its core logic is to charge pollutants via a high-voltage electric field for adsorption, and then use a water film to wash away pollutants to avoid secondary dust emission.The cathode wires of the equipment release high-voltage direct current to form a strong corona layer, which ionizes the surrounding air to generate a large number of electrons and ions. When pollutants in the flue gas (such as PM2.5, acid mist, and heavy metal aerosols) pass through the corona layer, they are quickly charged.Charged pollutants move toward the anode collecting plates with opposite charges under the action of electric field force, and are finally adsorbed on the collecting surface, realizing the separation of pollutants from flue gas.A continuous flowing water film is formed by spraying water through the top spray system or overflowing from the top of the collecting plates. The pollutants adsorbed on the plate surface are washed down into the bottom liquid collection tank and discharged with wastewater, completing the ash cleaning process.
